Stop when you're done!

“Don’t stop when you’re tired, stop when you’re done”

 

This quote has stuck with me for a while now. 

When it comes to getting something done, I find it very common for people to stop when they’re tired, rather than stopping when they’re actually done. This quote can apply to basically anything that involves putting in work. Workouts, school work, your job… ANYTHING.

For example, during a workout it seems to be the norm for one to stop when they begin to feel tired, or when pain kicks in. Now, we all know, or at least should… That those extra reps are what can cause you to grow bigger, better, stronger.

"The pain that you feel today will be the strength that you feel tomorrow!"

Obstacles such as pain are put in our way to see if what we want is actually worth fighting for. When you want something bad enough, there’s no doubt about it that you’ll push until you’re done, not when you’re tired. Once you control your mindset to ending off tasks once they're done rather than when you're tired, the results you will begin to see is tremendous. You will begin to get a lot more accomplished, which will help you become much more successful.
